強いプロンプトには5つの要素がある — Role(役割)/Task(課題)/Context(文脈)/Format(形式)/Constraint(制約)。
CHECK を実行する — Correct(正確)/Human(人間らしさ)/Equitable(公平性)/Curriculum-aligned(カリキュラム整合性)/Kid-safe(子どもの安全)。
- Role(AI
- Task(何をしてほしいか?):
- Context(何を知っておいてほしいか?):
- Format(どんな見た目にしたいか?):
- Constraint(制約は何か?):
出力に対して CHECK を実行してください: Correct(正確) / Human(人間らしさ) / Equitable(公平性) / Curriculum-aligned(カリキュラム整合性) / Kid-safe(子どもの安全)
(What's next)

The learner workbook
An asset to pass to your learners. Unlike the deck and facilitator guide, which are for you, this workbook is for the people you train. It turns the workshop into something they do: a warm-up reflection, the core 4D activities, a delegation matrix, and a commitment to close.
How to use it. Try the workbook below yourself first. Then use the buttons at the bottom to download it as an HTML file (a fillable copy you can email or post) or a PDF (a printable version). Each learner's responses stay on their own device.
Learner workbook content (interactive, fillable form):
Your hands-on companion to the AI Fluency workshop. Work through it as we go, or on your own afterward. Your answers stay in your browser. When you are done, use the buttons at the bottom to save a copy to keep, print, or share.
BEFORE YOU START — Three guardrails
- No prior knowledge needed. You do not have to be a tech expert to use AI well.
- Use your district's approved tool. Check what is allowed before you begin.
- Never enter anything that identifies a student. No names, IDs, or personal details, ever.
WARM UP — Have you ever...?
Check any that ring true. The goal is awareness, not perfection.
- Used an AI tool to write a quiz or lesson plan
- Felt unsure whether an AI-generated resource was accurate
- Wondered if students are submitting AI-written work
- Copied AI output without reviewing it
- Wanted to use AI but did not know where to start

THE 4D FRAMEWORK — The 4Ds at a glance
Two loops. The inner loop is how you work with AI. The outer loop is whether, and how much, you should.
- Description: Tell AI what you need. A strong prompt has five parts: Role, Task, Context, Format, Constraint.
- Discernment: Judge what comes back. Run CHECK: Correct, Human, Equitable, Curriculum-aligned, Kid-safe.
- Delegation: Decide what to hand to AI, and what to keep because doing the work is the point.
- Diligence: Own whatever comes out. Verify it, and disclose where it matters. Your name is on it.
ACTIVITY 1 · INNER LOOP — Describe it, then CHECK it
Pick a real, low-stakes task. Build a strong prompt, try it in your approved tool, then judge the result.
[Fill-in fields] The task / Role (who should AI be?) / Task (what should it do?) / Context (what should it know?) / Format (what should it look like?) / Constraint (what are the limits?)
Now run CHECK on the output: Correct / Human / Equitable / Curriculum-aligned / Kid-safe
[Free text] What would you change before using it?
ACTIVITY 2 · OUTER LOOP — The delegation matrix
Sort each task by impact and AI risk. Tap a task to select it, then tap the box where it belongs. Tap a placed task to pick it up again.
Tasks to sort: Writing a first-draft rubric / Drafting a classroom newsletter / Identifying students who need extra support / Giving feedback on an essay draft / Building relationships with students / Planning a hard conversation
Quadrants: Delegate fully (High impact, low AI risk) / Delegate with review (High impact, high AI risk) / Delegate occasionally (Low impact, low AI risk) / Keep human (Low impact, high AI risk)
ACTIVITY 3 · OUTER LOOP — Run the gates on a real task
Before you open the tool, decide what to delegate. After, decide how you will own the result.
[Fill-in fields] The task / Delegation: what AI will touch, what stays yours / Diligence: how you'll verify and disclose it
COMMIT AND CLOSE — One real task in the next week
Make it real, not hypothetical. Name one task you will bring AI into this week, using the loops you just practiced.
[Free text] This week I will... / How am I leaving the room? (comfortable teaching it / learned something new / still unsure)
Save your work. Download a copy to keep, print, or share with your learners. [Download as HTML] [Download as PDF]
